Applying for a job at ArtEZ 

We are pleased you are considering working with us in education, as a researcher, or as a team member of our Servicebedrijf support staff. If you choose to apply for a job, please read this page for more information about the application process. 

Our Application Procedure 

We always attend to your application with great care, if you choose to apply for a job with us. The application procedure is generally as follows: 

Job advertisement 

As is customary, we advertise the opening on our website, at www.werkenbijhogescholen.nl, and on LinkedIn. 

Reactions  

Have you considered joining us? Then you can upload your resume and cover letter to the website using the link in the job advertising. 

Review of Reactions

All resumes and cover letters are reviewed by the application committee for the position you are applying for. They choose who they would like to invite based on that review. If you are not invited for an interview, you will always be notified via email. 

Initial interview 

You will have your initial conversation with your potential colleagues and/or future manager. In this way you quickly get to know a number of the staff members working at the course or at the department. If, after this initial interview, we decide to proceed with another applicant, we will give let you know by telephone.

Second Interview 

Would we like to learn more about you? Then we will invite you for a second conversation. In this interview we will discuss in detail what the position entails as well as your thoughts on it.  

An application process may include a trial assignment at times.  

Are we not going to work together? We will inform you about this over the phone.  

Are you and are we still excited? Then we can proceed to the terms of employment! 

Terms of Employment interview 

Our HR department will contact you to arrange a Teams or live meeting for the terms of the employment. During this interview you will go over the offer for the specific position and all terms of employment of ArtEZ’. 

 

Employment Contract 

After we have reached a satisfactory employment agreement HR will email you to confirm and to request the details of yours needed in order to set up the formal agreement. After signing this contract you will be officially employed by ArtEZ. Be welcome!  

Onboarding

Onboarding takes place at two levels within ArtEZ: 

Within your department

Your colleagues assist you on job content as you progress through our onboarding programme. We take care to ensure that you receive accurate information, that everything is practically set up for you, that you can actually get started, and that you will quickly feel at home here.

ArtEZ wide

Twice a year there is an onboarding for all employees who have started working with us for the past months. At these meetings different departments inform on their field(s). Members of the Executive Board, our HR department and Student Affairs will enlighten you and bid you welcome.
